Does the NEC 8300 have the ability to detect D-channel failure? If so, any doc on how to provision this so when the D-channel is down, calls can re-route to another PRI or POTs lines.

Thanks.

Without checking, I'm pretty sure it does and if LCR is used, it will simply step over to the next option if there is one!

Do you know if there is any additional license necessary to see D-channel failure or a configuration option to enable it?

D-channel failure overflow is automatic when using LCR. You can observe the status of the PRI and D-channel using PCPro. There is no license necessary for this.
