I'm asking this for our telecom guy, but is there away to move a station from one LENS to another without having to delete and recreate all the speed dials, call forwarding, key programming information?

We've seen an option for it on the older 2000's, but can't find anything in our 2400.

Have to move a lot of stations to different cards to free up some slots, and want to minimize the programming as much as possible.

Thanks

If you have an office data spec lok at the command ASTN. this will allow you to change station numbers on a len with the key data and speed dials intact.

Think I follow you, but we want to move a station, with all of it's speed dials and key data from one len to another on a different line card.

Keep in mind if something goes wrong, NEC for some reason does not support the command "ASTN." Even is something does, its not to difficult to reconfigure these services. Personally I've used it in the past and the only problem I ran into was having to correct the name on display data and two tenants with different prefixes.

If you want speed dials intact, and you are going to a new card then the answer is no. Speed dials for Dterms are stored on the ELC card.
