When I run DFTD on my 2400IPX I've noticed this.

The CCS link Failure is a issue (I think) with a CCIS line going out to one of my NEC2000's and is a known issue that we are working on (for what it's worth, both the CCIS card's in the 2400 and 2000 have been swapped out without curing the issue).

What I'm worried about is the switch from LPOO-1 to LP00-0 in the 2400IPX which does not seem to be lasting longer then it takes to report and then fall back to LP00-1 and seems to me, to be failing with "SYSTEM MESSAGE OVERFLOW INF"

Suggestions?

Thanks.

The 36-0 is a message that the maximum number of system messages 512 has been reached , RALM every once and while to clear out the buffer.

As far as your CCIS span goes , 99 percent of the time it is a carrier issue. NEC hardware is rock solid so if it has been in and working I would suspect telco.

I do DFTD/RALM pretty much every day, except weekends. The problem must be the CCIS failures. At roughly one per minute it would only take 8 and a half hours to fill the buffer.

I'll clear it when I leave this evening (at 1700) and see if it flips CPUs tonight.
