I have a NEC DTP32D phone that I am wanting to setup with 24 line/trunk/Feature Keys + 8 DSS Keys. In the manual it states that the Add-on Module key assignment is required. By CM10-ECXX, CM98, CM90 for keys 30 though 37. Can someone assist me in the correct configurations to set this phone up? Thanks

Ok so I don't know where you found that information but you don't have an add on module, you have a 32 key phone. See command 1224 for the key layout!

Ozzie Thanks for your response to my question. I found that information in the command manual Revision 2.2 page 277. I checked and the settings on 1224 is set to 7. I am not seeing the command 1224 in the revision that I have.

I have made the change to 1224. I changed it from a 7 to a 0 and that made the keys on the phone move but, when I use command 9000 to program keys 30-37 I am getting a data not found message.

That's because there are no keys numbered 30 to 37 they numbered 1 to 24 for the top 4 rows then the 8 keys down the side (two rows of 4 vertically) have no numbers as they are fixed as one touch keys. They then start at 90 to 97 for the named keys.

0 is the correct setting for a 24/8 layout in 1224!
