Cannot get modem to answer.
Here is what I did.
cmd 4018 set to 0
cmd 4010 set to 0
cmd 3004 dit my trk to ext 399
ccc ext 399 (not assigned in 10 or 11)
On the cp14 do i change any switch settings?
thanks

Also - CMD 3002 de trunk # de 04
The top switch of the 4 piano keys on the front of the CPU needs to be turned on.
If you use night mode on the system you will want to set 3003 to 04 and 3005 to 399 as well.

Are you trying to connect to modem on MP? If so, why is cm 4010>1> not set to 399. If this is done, then you can DIT a trunk to 399. From what you describe, there is no extension assigned 399 in cmd 10/11/14.
What happens if you ring 399 internal?

First CM 4018 does not exist in the IVS2. It is only for IVS.
Set 4018>1>1 having it set to a 0 will cause your issue.
Since you have that flagged you should also check the other IVS modem CM's that no longer exist but can cause issues in the IVS2 and IPS...
CM 4011>1>7 If this is set to 5 or 6 in the IVS2/IPS the modem will not answer.
4012>1>15 This to can kill the modem if set to anything else in the IVS2/IPS.
4013>1>1 Sometimes set to a 0 in the IVS2 for softkeys. MUST be a 1 for the modem to answer.
4010>0>Moden Ext number.
Then try calling the modem from a Dterm to see if it answers.
Once it answers an internal call then start messing with trunk termination.
