Hi,

We need information on the ISDN, E1/R2. The cards are the PN-4rstb with 2 (two) PN-DTAb and an 8rstb.

On the Matxorx, we used the Office data listup be no idea were to look for the data for these.

Any thought? I've attached the data.

Thanks!

Hi Belevedere,

How many channels on the E1/R2 (DID) and ISDN channel allocation and configuration.

Mostly we need to provide the diagram on how the cards are integrated with the telcos, we have a dial 8 for a VPN connection with international branches and dial 9 for ordinary trunks.

Based on our physical diagram is looks like the ISDN is the VPN, the E1 is the DID and we have 2 C.O. cards for the trunks. what is the function of the 8rstb?

Thanks again!

The 8RSTB card is the additional register sender card. You have 32 built into the CPU, and that card adds 8 more to handle the digits dialed coming in and going out. It's a good chance that it's not even needed. A E-1 card has 32 channels, as ISDN, 31 voice and 1 data. Integration to telco depends on the PIM/SLOT location of the card. It will be in an option card slot towards the right side of the PIM. The first one in PIM 0, with 2 pairs crossed in to telco.
