NEAX2000IPS extension grouping

Hi!

I'm having issues with the extension grouping, I have an extension assigned to the operator '0', unfortunately, after grouping the operator with other extensions, these extensions cannot pickup incoming calls from the operator, the console is a Dterm8.

Any thoughts on this?

in your call pickup group, have you included 0 as well as the extension number of the phone?

Thank you for the reply, yes we included 0 in the group, the extension number of the operator is 0.

the phones attempting the call pick up are analog phones.

The question that comes next is, what key is the call ringing on when you can't pick it up and what is that key programmed as, is that in the group?. Can anyone pick up from any other phone in the group and did you close the loop when programming the group (first to last)?

With the IPS when you check the group using command 163 do you get to where it says END in the display (8300 onwards this stopped happening which was a mistake IMHO)?

Yes the others on the group can pick up, but we never closed the loop, I"ll look into that, so if the loop is not closed, this will spill to other extensions or groups... maybe that's why we are loosing the groups so we have to start all over again.

I'll also check on the key it's programmed, we're using the 1 3 code for pickup.

Just noticed, the pick up works only internally, on an outside incoming call, we cannot pickup

That's possibly due to the keys that ring to external calls not having their numbers in the group.
