NEAX 2440 IMX T1 to Dictation T1 1

I have a NEAX 2400 IMX and a Dictation system that will connect to a T1 (Voice)
Is it possible connect them withOUT a T1 from TELCO? (i.e. crossover cable, PBX to CSU <---> CSU to Dictation equip)

Yes. We do this all the time with fax servers and other equipment. You should be able to punch down your connection at the MDF and terminate the other end to an RJ45 jack and use a patch cord to connect to the dictation server.

Yes you can. you do not need a CSU.

Pin outs for the T-1 can be found in the circuit card manual, depending on the mounting location, the pin outs will differ.

the full programming for the T-1 is quite a bit of info. there should be a cheat sheet on the NECCare.com site. but a quick run down of some of the commands you will need.
