Neax 2400 Ver. 7 MAT acess denied 1

Moved Neax 2400 to a new location. When I power up I get a message. MAT access denied for software protection. I can print system message but can't program. I don't recall the 2400 being password protected. Help.....

It could be ….On some of the ICS /IMGX systems (Depending on software) NEC had a dongle or security key on the system. It is a RS232 MALE to Female plug. This would be plugged into the IOC cable where your MAT would go. If it is there you may have it on the wrong IO port.

If it is gone you can try NEC but it could be a few $$$$ to get a new one, They will need the site code for the system.

The keys are no longer used if you where to upgrade to IPX
But youll need to the key to upgrade.

Have you checked the switch at the top of PBX?
Please check it ,if you have set the wrong switch.
