Recently took over a customer that has a Neax 2000 ips and a Neax 64 mail server

I wood like to know how I can administer this system with my Laptop and what tools (software I would need) I have worked on the NEC IPK 64 switch and I guess this is a different ballgame.

Thanks

To administer the 2000, you would use MatWorx, or program it from a phone.

To administer the voicemail, umm... isn't the 64 an external box? You should be able to log in right on the computer...

Just my 2¢

Thanks, the Neax 64 is a stand a lone PC. With a cat 5e cable going to CPU daughter board card.

thanks for your help

Are you using a TCP/IP connection on your AD64?

You will need pcAnywhere software to access your AD64 remotely. pcAnywhere is used for the AD64 instead of co-sessions as it is a Windows platform. pcAnywhere is already installed on your AD64 but you should have received a copy with the voicemail. pcAnywhere will allow you to dial in to your voicemail remotely or connect via TCP/IP.
