I am trying to connect via ISDN PRI an adjunct to the NEAX 2000 IVS-
Its purpose is to place outbound calls back thru the PBX and then to a PSTN number-

The span is up and active & I can pass calls to and from this adjunct and to and from the PBX stations-

I have 2 problems-
1) I can only dial 4 digits ie 9411
All other calls 9-123-456-7890, 9-1-800-456-7890 fail and the PBX replys to the D Channel Setup
with 'Release Complete'
2) I am not receiving ANI in the D Channel Setup from the PBX

Thank you in advance

1. My hunch: Sounds like an LCR issue or trunk route issue.
2. Need more info.
a. When you dial 9411 does the call go through and you can connect to directory assistance 411?
b. If the answer to a. no, then my question is are you sure that you are sending the calls to that pri. Look at the pri. Once you dial the 9411, does the last light start blinking?
c. Did you check the config of the D channel i.e. NI2, DMS etc.

CTVI-
Thank you for your reply-
Yes, I can complete the outbound call to Directory Assistance, continue the conversation, and recieve 'disconnect' from the PBC when the call ends-
Again, my problem is if I try to place a call that is longer then 4 digits the PBX rejects the Setup-
Is there a cmd where I define Max DNIS?

yes. 85 and 5 for first plan. so you go
855 DE 91 DE if you see 00 then you must dig deeper i.e. 912 or 91212 for 212 area code. If you see 11 then it is 11 digits. You can put in up to a max of digits.

CTVI-
Again, Thank you for your reply-
I will pass this info along to the Field Eng-

The 2000IVS will not tandem the incoming caller ID out another ISDN span. Caller ID can only be added to a setup message if the call was initiated by a station and not a trunk.

Thank you for your reply-
What has been setup is;
1) A DID call is received for station 3456
2) 3456 is set to 'forward all calls' to 6-3456
3) 6 is used to point any digits to the second PRI span
4) A data base entry in the adjunct calls out to place a call to 9-1-321-456-7890 upon 'Connect' the inbound and outbound legs are
bridged together-

So, If I understand your comment,
The PBX will not retain and add the original 'calling number' information to the 'Tie' span call setup.

Again, Thank you for your reply-
The other issue is;
From a station, I'm not recieving ANI
What has been setup is;
1) A station 3333 would call 3456
2) 3456 is set to 'forward all calls' to 6-3456
3) 6 is used to point any digits to the second PRI span
4) A data base entry in the adjunct calls out to place a call to 9-1-321-456-7890 upon 'Connect' the inbound and outbound legs are
bridged together-

The Setup does not include Calling number

For the station initiating the call you must set CM 1212 and CM 1213 to send the calling party number or you can send on a trunk basis by assigning CM 3034.
To send 213-555-1212 from station 3333.
1. CM 1212>3333>1212
2. CM 1213>3333>00
3. CM 5005>00>213555
To send 213-555-1212 on a trunk basis(trunks 100~122)
1. CM 3034>100~122>01
2. CM 5005>01>2135551212
