I can't seem to find any manuals on the NEAX 2000 IPS, but plenty on the NEAX 2000 IVS. Are they similar in programming and hardware or are they two different animals?
For the most part many commands are the same but there are some differences, even some of the same programs require a slightly different nomenclature. There are many commands that you won't see on the IVS or even early versions of the IPS as well. Currently the latest IPS rev is 3900-R14.
Expandability and solid VoIP would be the major differences that come to mind.
The manuals are what I like to call Japaninglish and are some of the most technical in the phone industry. I like NEC a lot because I can do a lot with them, they're rock solid once up, but programming and documentation can be a major pain.
