NEAX 2000 IPS Remote Site License

Hi all,

I would like to add an additional remote site to our NEC Univerge NEAX 2000 IPS.

I have the hardware.

Currently we are licensed for 1 remote site. F88-01-16=0001
Is it still possible to add an additional license for a remote site? (assuming I could even find a license to load!)

F85-FF03-P1 (3900 Series R14)

You might still be able to get one through your dealer. The system goes to "no longer supported" in March.

I thought the "no longer supported" date was long past - like Sep 2012.

Which one to believe?

If it's still somewhat supported, the I should be able to add a license - if I could find one.

My information says March 2014 for both the 2000 IPS and the NEAX2400.

We tried recently to NEC Australia and were advised that no new licensing was available for IPS2000

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....
