Howdy,
I have an NEAX 2000 IPS with about 200 line. We just opened a newly remodeled building and installed about 30 non-DID "classroom wall phones" I need to make it so that these phones can not call long distance. I have never had to restrict this feature before and a little help would be greatly appreciated.

What you are asking for is probably the most difficult thing to set up in the system. Try for some guides on LCR basic and LCR advanced. The LCR advanced has restriction examples. Restrictions are best done using LCR.
I have worked with and taught many NEC technicians, some with 5-10 years of experience that still cannot understand how to set up restrictions. You may need to get an experienced vender in to set this up.

First question has to be, are any extensions in your system currently set the way you want these extensions to be? if so then simply check Cmd 1201 to see how it is set and then set these extensions the same!

Alternately there is a walk through LCR in the FAQs here on this site! It may help you understand how the restrictions are set!
