When you dial an ext. If you press "1" while its ringing it automatically picks up on the other end of the call. Is there a way to disable this? Thanks

System wide use CM 08>156>1.
Be aware that this will also disable the other keypad one touch features available when the dialed station is ringing.

you mentioned it would disable other one touch features. What are some other features if you don't mind listing them... I am new to the PBX scene. Thanks

also, can you disable that feature per station or only system wide?

System wide only.
Features lost would be
1. Internal Voice signalling.
2. Call Back (Can still be done with feature key).
3. Message reminder (Not necessary if you have VM).

I had the internal voice feature disabled as well. It drove me nuts...If the caller pushed one ( or the voice soft key) and then hung up it would make all internal calls to that extension be voice calls. I was constantly telling users how to reset their phone...usually the same people over and over again (slow learners!!!). I could never figure out who was doing it. I don't miss Call Back either.

This is a little of the subject line but has to do with the Dterm phones so I thought I would post it here. We have several display phones. If we miss a call that originated from a internal station, it shows the ext number on the display. But only the last. Is there a way to view last 10 calls for example? I hope that makes sense

I had that feature on the Axxess system I used on another job. It was great. I really miss it.

The feature is called CID call back and is available for both internal and trunk calls to the station.
Available on IVS2 2300 or higher and all IPS.

The feature is on. but it only shows the last call. I am wondering if you can scroll through the call list. I.E. The last 10 calls or something like that.

Straight from the Features and specifiications manual for the NEAX IVS2/IPS on the Caller ID Call Back....
7. A maximum number of registrations is up to 24 per station (the number can be programmed in 8, 16 or 24
on a station basis). A maximum number of registration per system is 1,024.
Sounds like the feature may not be enabled.

You may be correct, I am using a neax 2000 ivs. Are you saying my system doesn't support that feature? I mean if I get a call from a internal ext but do not answer it. That number is displayed on my phone until I pick that phone up. But it only shows that 1 missed call. And doesn't show anything if the call originated from outside our system. I am new to this and appriciate you patience in this matter.. Thanks again..

The CID call back feature is not availble with the IVS. As Pave35 pointed out its was introduced in the IVS2 rev 2300.
The IVS does not have anything for this.

p.s. Time for a upgrade, this can be done and keep most if not all your existing hardware.
