To any Reports Guru,

I have a report with following specifications:
3 pages A4 Portrait
1 page A4 Landscape
1 page A4 Portrait
1 page A4 Landscape
2 pages A4 Portrait
3 pages A4 Landscape
7 pages A4 Portrait
1 page A4 Landscape

I know Oracle can have 3 sections with different formats (Header, Body, Footer) so it seems the report I want to do is impossible to do in only one RDF file.

The issue is that if I do it in several RDF files, I will lose track of the page numbering in my page footer...

Any idea would be welcome.

You may keep track of pages if you call all reports from the common master report using SRW.RUN_REPORT procedure. Another approach would be to store number of pages in some temp table and access it by the next report. Looks like "brute force" method, but Oracle often recomments it for complex pagination issues.

I am using barcode font in Oracle Reports.
When I export the report to PDF, everything appears except the barcode font text block ?

Using Oracle Reports 9i...
Does Oracle Reports 10g fix that kind of issue ?

Fixed.

The issue was fully my mistake although the export to PDF is a bit confusing in this case.
I used a barcode font with a big size and hence I was seeing half of it in Oracle Reports.

When saving file to PDF, the embedded barcode font object did not display half of the content since it was too big for it hence I believed the export to PDF did not work...

Thanks for your time anyway.
