NDS Joins 1

Cannot remove NDS partions showing join state, is there a manual way to remove partions without calling Novell.

Remember, when you remove a Partition from a Server, you also have to remove to any reference to this particular Server from the the rest of the Servers in the entire Replica Ring.

Try this...

On the Particular Server that you want the Replica removed from...

1. DSREPAIR -a
2. Advanced Options Menu
3. Replica and Partition Operations
4. Select the Context in question and press ENTER
5. Destroy Selected Replica on this Server

Then, on the rest of the servers that hold a copy of the same Replica...

1. DSREPAIR -a
2. Advanced Options Menu
3. Replica and Partition Operations
4. Select the Context in question and press ENTER
5. View Replica Ring
6. Select the Server that you just removed the Replica from and press ENTER
7. Remove this server from the Replica Ring
