User has deleted NDS information from sys, no user can get on tree or server - neither exist.
Is there a way to recover the other volumes onto other hard drives so I can reinstall novell on the original hard drive, then copy volumes back again??
regards
Mike

If you cannot restore from backup, you could always reinstall the server onto the existing server, just overwriting SYS.

The data will be left on the other volumes, but you will loose all of your trustee and rights information. Providing you do not delete the NetWare partition, you should be ok.

I have to ask, but how the heck did a user get rights to the SYS volume to delete stuff???

Thanks very much for the tip - we are desperate and are about to try it
FYI the user that deleted the info was a help desk administrator!!
