Hi,

Could do with a little help if anyone know anything about this.

When I send an email from my email account (Exchange 5.5) to an account on a different server (Exchange 2000) i get a delivery report so everything looks OK. The thing is when I then try to send to the same account but using the "send as" option I get a NDR back from the server I'm sending to stating that

"The recipient name is not recognized"

I have checked everyting that I can think of - I have the permissions to "send as" - I even deleted my permissions and recreated them.

Service packs and hotfixes are up to date and the hotfix has been re-applied. I even took another export of the addresses on the exchange 2000 server and imported them into my GAl on exchange 5.5 server but this didn't resolve the problem.

I've never had any problems like this before so any help would be great.

Thanks

JB
