I have several clients that we can not e-mail to (the messages hang in the "Outbound messages awaiting delivery" queue in the IMC and eventually NDR). They of course receive e-mail from others.
One example is "virtu.ws".
I get the IP address 66.34.237.31 when I do a nslookup. If I do a set q=mx in nslookup and enter virtu.ws I get no mail exchangers listed. I can telnet into port 25 of 66.34.237.31, so I know that this is their SMTP server...
I'm not on any "smtp black lists" and am stumped on this.
Other clients that I can't e-mail to also have no MX record... I haven't attempted to telnet into their A record IP address on port 25, but I bet it's the same issue.
Any help out there?
