From a server running NDPS I continually get the following messages...

RMANSRVR.NLM The resource Management Service could not open the data file "SERVERname"/SYS:/ndps/resdir/banner/[None]

How can I prevent this, and establish who/what is trying to access it??
TIA
Rob

From a command prompt, browse to the RESDIR directory and type the following command: FLAG *.* N /S
This will correct any rights corruption present in the RESDIR directory. If this doesn't work for all of the printers associated, browse for the file name that was mentioned in the error, (printer.inf), in the PRNDRV directory. Find the driver directory that contains the file and any Printer Agent that is associated to that driver. In NWADMIN, find the Printer Agent, and modify the default printer configuration by changing the drivers for each operating system necessary to something else, save the changes, and then change them back. This will clear up any DS corruption that was holding incorrect driver path information without having to recreate the Printer Agent.
