please can someone tell me if its possible to use a parallel printer with ndps? or do i need a network card \ jet direct box?

You can if the parallel card is in your server. and it needs to be a traditional type with jumpers that is capable of LPT1: LPT2: etc. Can't be funky plug and play or anything..

i've done a little digging and seen a way of using ndps and the windows unix print service. anyone else tried this? i need this to work for 600 printers across 180 sites.
