I have a 56K WAN link and a remote Netware 5 server. We connect to another location via Ctrix Metaframe and print to a queue in that location which is associated back to the original location.

The remote queues are not staying connected/associated and we cannot print to those ones.

I really need help on this one.

Thank you all

HI!

I have no experience with NDPS, but will give you some more ideas:

First, as you probably already know, printing from a remote terminal server is problematic over slow links, since you transfer the print job in "Raw" printer format which can be a large file especially for graphics.
The best , easiest and normaly the "right" solution is simple - increase your bandwidth.
Yes, it will cost some...
You may also try to enable compression using software or hardware on both sides of the slow link.

If you have a way to transfer the original file to the workstation in other method (email, file sharing) and render and print on the workstation itself, it could help, although in many cases it is not a relevant solution.
You may try some tricks installing Adobe Acrobat PDF printer, create a PDF file on the Citrix server instead of print job, which will be saved on an HTTP server or novells shared volume, then print it from the client using Acrobat Reader.
This is ofcourse quite a long work-around and I have not tried this specific one, but if it helps then...

Another thing to try is different print sharing technique.

Can you try implementing a Windows (9x/NT/2K/whatever) print server on the remote side, and connect the terminal server directly to it?
Did you try using the netware "standard" Print Queue/Printer/Server as in NW4.x?
What protocol is used between the client and CITRIX server?
What protocol is used between the NW server and NDPS printer?
Is name resolution working fine?
Maybe you are using TCPIP to access the CITRIX server, but IPX/SPX for printing, and you have some configuration problem in the routers that transfer TCPIP fine but does not transfer IPXSPX correctly, SAP advertisments and so?

Tell us how you solved this.

Bye
