hi folks,

we've got 2 networker clients licensed, which work via NDMP.
I am in need to rename one of these clients. That is, I did it already.

I expected to be able to access old backups via
File - Recover
Change - Client ; Update Client list

but this is not the case.

In the manual, they say one could access backups of any client via 'remote access' option. I am wondering whether this is possible with NDMP also.

Otherwise: do I need another license in order to access old backups? Seems weird to me .. :-/

In case this is helpful: we run networker v.7.2A00 on SLES 9; attached is a SCSI Jukebox Scalar500
