We have a Netappliance 810 with a superdlt tape drive attached to it. I have the Networker server (W2K) running version 6.2 and a temporary ndmp connection license loaded on the server. From the server I can ping and telnet to the Netappliance but when I run jbconfig I get the message:

"Fail to open 'nodename':cm0 as 'username' on 'nodename'. I didn't find any SCSI jukeboxes attached to this system".

When I telnet to the Netappliance device it shows the tape drive.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Make sure you've followed the instructions in the NetWorker Administrator's Guide (in the NDMP chapter) for setting up the client resource and the device resource. These settings are different than 'regular' devices'.

Good luck

When configureing the Juke box on an NDMP device I think you must run jbconfig from the server not on the NDMP device.
