Dears,

Hi,
I have given an old ncui2 board with part number: Q2305-x10 and the owner says previus system administrator left the company and is not responsible, I need to reconfigure and re program the board by changing the board load-ware and I have the PKZNCI20 file but it seems the password is changed, how can I change or reset this password to HIPATH4000?
(I tried to hold reset bottom for 3 or 5 or 10 seconds, I tried passwords like HIPATH4000, hicom, Hicom, Hipath4000, 4000 and so on)
output of terminal software (Putty) is as following on comport, com4 and rate 38400:

!!! Attention: Main Power Supply is out of range !!!

!!! Attention: Power Supply of Base Box is out of range !!!

Hi.

Try with:
CHANGE-STMIB:MTYPE=NCUI2,LTU=<LTU>,SLOT=<SLOT>,TYPE=SERVIF,LOGINTRM=<User login for terminal mode>,LOGINPPP=<User login for PPP connection>,PASSW=<Password for terminal mode>;

Followed by:
EXEC-USSU:UPDATAP,...;

Or you can try with:
Login: TRM
Password: PUBLIC

or
TRM
HICOM

or
HP4K-DEVEL
Siemens2000

Some of the newer ones are HICOM / HICOM. I have a mixed bag between those and TRM / HICOM ones.

Dear donb01 and Dear Adiby,

I want to re install the firmware of card not to configure the card to connect to NCUI2 board in boot mode by pressing and stopping the board to load the firmware and load the card in boot mode and reinstall its firmware.

Best Regards
Hamid

I'm not sure what version of 4000 you have, but in V7 Assistant in Expert Mode or something like that you will find the Gateway Manager. That will let you see the firmware on the gateway boards (STMI and NCUI) and compare the loadware on the boards to what is currently on the system. If you upgrade the loadware on the system it will also facilitate you to be able to update the boards (transfer the loadware and activate the loadware). I'm not sure if V6 has the gateway manager, but it might, and before that is a toss-up because when I had V5 I didn't know that much about the system yet.
