NCR POS Machine CASH DRAWER ISSUE

I phasing issue is POS machine sowing error "Failed to Open Cash DRawer Controller(107)101:0..

Kindly help to solve please i reimage pos machine and did it all what ever i can ..

Hmmm... most cash drawers that I have worked with just work off of the "bell"... essentially it's connected to the printer, and the printer opens the drawer.

If it's a "smart" drawer that actually requires a signal to a controller, then I would start by checking physical connections; cables, power, and so forth.

Most NCR cash drawers are connected to the NCR base, little RJ11 type connector that is basically power ground signal and sensor. Signal can either move a motor or solenoid depending on model, same as IBM. been working on them for over 20 years. Most likely it is the card in the cash drawer if the port on the base is good, and cable is good.
