I have two NCP 500's linked between two routers, Using port forwarding. I Have opened the ports from the panasonic manual on both routers. The manager Is conecting across the net. The routers are Netgear. Both systems can ring each other with the extension numbers coming up. I am still not getting any speech? So then i decided to open all ports on both routers to see if that would help. Still no Speech. Any sugestions

You need a VPN, don't waste your time with nat, port fwd as it will not be reliable.

A vpn is the prefered option here, that said have you opened the RTP ports as you will never get speach if you havent

if you are on a VPN, it is the same as on local network, all ports are open on the tunnel

agreed , however if they are using a fire wall unit such as sonic wall it will inspect packets and drop RTP even though it is a "True VPN Tunnel", I know that is not stated but could certainly be a possibility.
