Hi Guys i need some help with a NCP500.

I am upgrading a NCP500 from Analogue lines to ISDN2 the issue i have is trying to change the ISDN2 from point to multipoint to point to point.

I can do it normally by using PBX Unified Maintenance Console, by taking the card Out of service but the firmware on the NCP500 is too old for my program to recognize.

Can you do it by programming through the handset?

Regards Skippy.

the software version is 4.2

You will need to change prog 426,P-p /p-mp 424,L1 425 L2 to permanent from call

Ive tried to change it in 426 but when i go to save it i get the error tone.

you may have to change tei to fixed0 first

if you have a unified tool, it will work on older versions, what version tool do you have

When i try to connect with the unified tool i get wrong modem or password error, last time time i had to do this i had to take the card out of service using the unified tool before it would let me change the line to point to point.

yes, on the software you do have to take it ous, but not on hs programming

it could be the password is wrong as the hs and pc can have different passwords set
