Guys I have site that has existing traditional dect on NCP500 . They have another site across a very busy road that is about 80m away. They have a reapeter in place but I think the repeater is just too far away from the cell on main site. I am thinking about creating vpn between sites and doing a NCP0158 on second site. Would this work ok? My fear is that the cells won’t sync properly with each other and I will get calls dropping etc. I can’t gaureentee coverage across RoAd as there is too many variables that can interfere but I want to garauntee coverage in this other building.
I know I can have ip cells in remote locations but wondering if really this will be classed as remote being that it may still pick up signal intermittent from the main site.
Do these cells require licence on the NCP? Is there a limit to how many cells can connect to the NCP or should I be ok as currently no ip dect? Assuming 175/185 handsets will work ok?
Thanks for any help !
