Could you guys sanity-check something for me? I'm upgrading from a Partner ACS system to a new Panasonic NCP500. My vendor is telling me that I must use the KX-NCP0158 IP cell station and that I cannot use the
KX-T0155 because I am using SIP trunks for outside lines. Is it true that I cannot use the digital extension type cell stations and must use the IP cell stations with SIP trunks? It sounds a bit strange and I can find no supporting documentation of this "quirk". I only really need 2 channel cell stations and given the need for four of them, it is a significant price difference.

Hi
I have an NCP working with 4 Dect phones on an 8-Channel Cell Station. You need to wire 4 digital ports consecuatively to the Cell station to get it to work.

Figured as much, thanks for the confirmation.

you can put 2 channel dect cell stations on a single extension port. sip does not matter. could be that has not allowed for digital extension card on the system which you need for cell stations other than IP one
