NCP 500 door phone forwarded to an external number DTMF tone 5 is not releasing the door

Hi All

Is this possible should I be able to release the door by pressing 5 when the door phone is forwarded. If so any ideas why it is not working

Why not do it the reverse way,
Dial into to DISA and dial to release the Door

We need to just press the button on the door phone and be able to release the door

Oh, sure. i think i hadnt gotten u right. Why not assign one of the buttons to be a speed-dial to open the door with one-touch dialing. Which handset model is that?
