How do I add or modify a NCOS to allow phones to dial 911 without a authorization code? I'm not sure what LD you go into to modify an NCOS. At this facility we only use two NCOS 1 for the plant and 0 for all. I would like to change the restricted NCOS and give them the ability to dial 911.

Thank you for your help.

911... see if 911 is in your switch as a spn. as it should be or a npa, do you require account code for all calls from ncos 1? you'll need to change the rlb for 911 to a local rlb that has a frl low enough to get around account code, you may need to build a new rlb in 86 and then point 911 to that, if so post back and print a rlb in 86 that goes to your local route..

Hi John,

Here is a print out of route list

RLI 0
ENTR 0
LTER NO
ROUT 5
TOD 0 ON 1 DN 2DN 3DN 4 THRU 7 ETC.
CNV NO
EXP NO
FRL 1
DMI 0
FCI 0
FSNI 0

so is 911 pointed the rlb 0, and is route 5 a local route?, if 911 is the only number pointed to rli 0 then change the frl to 0, if not build a new rli and point it to route 5 with a frl of 0
