My NCDP is set to 4. What does this actually mean? How do I know that I don't need it to be more digits?

no matter where you go, there you are.
"This participation is persona and does not represent the United States Census Bureau." They make me say this.

Using 4 digit DNs? Good to Hook then.

Number of digits in CDP DN (DSC + DN or LSC + DN)

I read this in the NTP but, I didn't really know what it meant.

What circumstances would you dial a DSC+DN?

We are using UDP to go between sites so, 4 should be the right setting. Thanks!

The NCDP prompt is mainly to do with the messaging across a network. Most of this can be to do with Voice Mail message waiting lights and therefore the NCDP length should be the same as the DN's within your CDP DSC dial plan.

It shouldn't be that much of an issue if you are using UDP.

All the best
