ncc - 3 sites

I am adding a new site to 6.0 call center web one opt61,2 11c switches. The new site is 11c. When I go to add the site in the NCC server nbconfig, I add CLAN address, click verify but name is not coming up correctly. Where is the name pulling from if not the name of the Symposium server? Also when I login as the webadmin, add the sites under CONFIGURATION and Network (NCC)/Ssites, the two 11c sites under switch show as pending but the 61c shows the switch name?

unless the new site has a symposium too, what you're doing is not necessary.

I found the site name under Start menu in CCS Configuration on the Symposium server. question is if I change the name to our name the correct name, Will it require a reboot on the machine?

You need to check the Install and Maintenance guide for the procedure to change the site name. The site name also is listed on your reports as well.

Review the the Computer Name Sync Utility ahead of time to make sure you understand the process and what it will impact. Don't make the name change until you're sure or you could have some unintended consequences.

Thanks - this site is not in production just yet. Changed and rebooted and now able to commuicate with NCC and shwoing up in other sites table
