Have a G3si V9. I am trying to back out a board related to a pt-to-pt PRI T1 that is no longer active. I was able to delete the trunk group, and then tried to delete the signaling group - I got an error msg saying "must remove administered NCA TSC's before removing signaling group". If I look at pg 2 of the rem sig 4 view, I see one administered NCA TSC. The view gives a local extension, enabled "y", established "permanent", and gives destination digits. Plus lists Machine ID "2", which I am not sure what that is referring to (I've seen machine listings in Audix but never on the PBX side). If I dial the local ext or the destination digits, I get wave-off. Any idea how I can get rid of this administered NCA TSC assignment? My tech and I are really scratching our heads on this one! Thanks.

Just do 'change signaling-group x', go to page 2 and change the enabled field to 'n' and press <ENTER>. Do 'R', go to page 2 and space out the entry for the TSC and press <ENTER>. You should be able to remove the Signaling Group from there. The TSC sounds like it was used for DCS.

Maybe this will work:

1) "display isdn tsc-gateway" to get the processor channel associated with your signaling group.

2) "change communication-interface processor-channels" to remove the processor channel id'd in 1st step.

3) "change isdn tsc-gateway" to remove the entry from step 1.

That took care of the problem. Thank you very much for your assistance!
