I have a NBX100 and I have 10 analog lines I have 20 users/handset.
I am running two company in the same building.
Company A has 5 lines 2 for long distance
Company B has 5 lines 2 for long distance

I want to be able to allow company A and B to dial out over the lines that are assign to them.Also to be able to attach an automated greeting to each set of 5 lines.

In addition there are two manager who want to be able to dial out over all 10 lines.


Is this setup possible.

You will have to create different tables in the dial plan for each company and a 3rd for the managers.

OK, here is an updated dialplan for the 3 groups you wanted.
Table 1 is for the managers and will be setup to use all lines available.
Table 4 is for Company 1 and will be setup for the lines as needed.
Table 5 is for Company 2 and will be setup for the lines as needed.

You will need to assign the phones to the different tables so that they use the correct dial plan.

You will also need to create extensions *0010, *0011, *0012, *0020, *0021, *0022 and add the available lines to the groups as needed.

You add the phones to the different tables under Dialplan > Tables...
Create the *00XX extensions under Dialplan > Extension List...

Then add the trunks to the different *00XX extensions per your need...

Thanks for all your help so far , I have uploaded the dial plan to the system and I will be testing today. I have just one more question. How can I assign an Auto attendant to the different companys; so that when those lines are called it gives a greeting for the individual companies alond with what ever options is presented.

Under the NBX Messaging, create the 2 auto attendants.
Then in the analog line cards, use the auto extension box to assign the extension of the auto attendant that you created for that company. Do this for each port for each company.
