Working on a surplus SS3 (V5000) chassis. Watching the terminal screen, the system finds both hard drives and reads the first 9 files on each, then reports "file not found" and halts at the BNCP> prompt.

Any ideas on what the next step might be? Thanks in advance.

Update - in case anyone actually visits this forum ;) :

It appears as though the next file in line (from watching an NBX100 boot, anyway) might be HTFSOK.DAT .

Does that clue help anyone diagnose the reason why this 3com NBX SS3 / V5000 won't boot?

thanks in advance,
Dave
