One of my customers has a 3COM NBX system (about 300+ extentions) and will be replacing his stack of Superstack 3300 switches with a Cisco 4506 with 10/100/1000 PoE ports. He uses another device (EPS might be the term) to supply power to his phones. I do know that on his older 2200 series phones, that he will still have to use the EPS device. But for his newer 2200's and 3300's he can come directly off of the Cisco PoE switch. He currently does not have a separate VLAN setup for his voice traffic and initially I want to help him set it up the same way like he has it now. Has anyone had much experience with this mix? I have setup some QoS on Cisco switches before for Cisco IP Phones, but don't know anything about 3COM.
