New to NBX,
We have a NBX5000 and we are trying to save the company money by calling our Spain office over our existing WAN network. I have connected the NBX to the Cisco router - which shows a Good connection between the two devices. Please review the status below:
>sh isdn stat
Global ISDN Switchtype = primary-qsig
ISDN Serial1/0:23 interface
******* Network side configuration *******
dsl 0, interface ISDN Switchtype = primary-qsig
**** Master side configuration ****
Layer 1 Status:
ACTIVE
Layer 2 Status:
TEI = 0, Ces = 1, SAPI = 0, State = MULTIPLE_FRAME_ESTABLISHED
Layer 3 Status:
0 Active Layer 3 Call(s)
Active dsl 0 CCBs = 0
The Free Channel Mask: 0x807FFFFF
Number of L2 Discards = 0, L2 Session ID = 29
Total Allocated ISDN CCBs = 0
I think the dial plan is the issue. When we try to dial the "prefix 691", we get a busy signal. Please review the dial plan below:
/ Id Entry Digits Min Max Class Prio Route
/ -- ----- ------------ --- --- ------------- ---- -----
TableEntry Create 1 110 691 7 13 LongDistance 0 10
/ Route Description
/ ----- -----------
DestinationRoute Create 10 All Sites IVN
Here is the Digital Line Card Configuration on the NBX
10 IVN to Madrid 00:e0:bb:0c:c3:72 ISDN PRI 0x0b00 R6_0_59 Online
10 ESF - Extended Super Frame B8ZS 0-35 Meters T1 QSIG slave
My question is the engineer has configure the "Class" to "LongDistance" - should it be WAN or Internal because it is going over the WAN Network to Spain.
Is there something else I need to confirm on the dial plan?
Thank you for your time,
