Hi..
I am looking at backing up a couple hundred SQL servers which hold several thousand DB's..
I have the policy, and schedules setup, and the DBA then logs in one of the SQL servers, run the DB extention, tell it to backup the DB's and save the script. The DB's can now initiate user side jobs.. all good..
Now, thats one server done.. unfortunatly, the DBA's like to move DB's from server to server, and do not want to modify the scripts when they do.
What are my options to make this as easy as can be so I can run the jobs, and not have to get the DBA's to modify any scripts? Can the scripts be set to backup all existing DB's on the server?
