NBII Floppy Drive

I have started to get 'File System Access Error' when trying access the floopy drive. Thing is, this is not just affecting one NBII but several. What's happening? I need to back-up to floppy, but can't at the moment.

Hi,

Have you checked floppy disks (bad sectors?). It happened to me several times. You can try to upgrade your CEC firmware. Latest I have is 2.6, and it works perfectly.

What is the process on upgrading the CEC firmware, and can I still get a copy of it off the 3Com website?

CEC Upgrade is very simple. First, you have to get copy of fpupdate.29k. To get this file email 3com support, this file is no longer available on web or ftp site. Next, boot your server from fpupdate.29k, and that's it.
