Trying to verify the V.35 ports work.
Changed port owner to loopback
Changed clock to testmode
Changed DLTest parameters:
Recv check - Data
Test mode - Loopback

The ports acutally use a "RS232" style DB25 connector, so I built a loopback plug as follows:
DB25D V.35 V.35 DB25D
Pin2 P (TxData A) R (RxData A) Pin3
Pin4 C (RTS or RR) D (9CTS) Pin5
Pin6 E (DSR) F (DCD)H (DTR) Pin8,Pin20
Pin17 V (RxSigTiming A) U (ext clk A) Pin24

With B Channel Looped Back Also
Pin14 S (TxData B) T (RxData B) Pin16
Pin 9 W (RxSigTiming B) X (ext clk B) Pin 11

DLTest command starts and seems to run okay without errors, but when I issue a DLTest STAT command.... It shows the packets being transmitted and increments same, but never shows any packets as being received, nor does it show any errors.
I get the same results when running the test from either the NBII or the Office Connect. Only difference is that when running the test on the Office Connect, after I attach the loopback connector, the port status changes to UP. Port status never changes on the NBII.
Have three different V.35 cards in the NBII and all give the same results.
What am I doing wrong? or is there a better way of performing a loopback test.

Never mind.
You have to change the connector type to RS232 even though your using the v.35 protocol. Seems you need to change it back when your done testing.
