NBII 8 slot Error Message

ERROR:
regexp: unmatched ( ) regular expression compile failed

has appeared on our 11.3.0.117 NBII 8slot extended console and I ain't got a clue what it means. Anyone got any ideas.
There does not seem to be any problems but I am worried as to what this means. I have checked knowledgebase to no avail.

Sorry to take so long to get back to you - been to a wedding (not mine) in a far off land.

I had logged a call with 3Com and got an answer to the effect that there was not enough info to diagnose. We were asked to put appropriate audit logging on and open faultcall if it happens again.

It hasn't as yet......
