Hello,
Atm My NB cats are using removable media, I'd like to use Media Type 2, to be a disk based back up. My question is, the catalogue files that are written the first time total 6gb, the next time catalogues are written, will these files be replaced completely? Or will the files be appended?
In an ideal world, I'd like to backup to media, then rotate this media, either off site or on site within a safe, then Media T 2, would be an off site backup across a high speed Wan link, this in turn would be backed up by another site and enter in to their rotational system.
Is there a best practice of keeping these vital catalogues safe?
TIA
K
