I'm in the process of gathering as much data from a bunch of CX700s we have at work. I've successfully been able to populate a database every half hour with LUN, HBA, disk, and overall san info with a perl script that parses a getall. My next step is to gather mirrorview information using naviseccli.
The SnapView manual says the following:
"Display information about existing remote mirrors (wait for mirror to be synchronized and in normal
state):
navicli –h SPAremote mirrorview –list"
What concerns me is the wait for mirror to be synced part, if I was to run this when the mirror was in a fractured or unsynced state would this have any negative repercussions? I don't see any information posted anywhere that would lead me one way or the other.
