I am looking on information to get Navis core to start up apon opening HP open View. When I start my open view I am not allowed to use any of the Lucent options that are available to me. Therefore I am unable to model any of my switches. If anyone could help it would be greatly apprieciated !!!!

That will be an install problem, you've missed out a step on the install - what version of NNM and what Navis are you installing?
