Hello,

I have an RFI Log form and an RFI Full View Form that looks like the entire letter so people can adjust fields how they want in the letter format. Next to each record in teh RFI_Log, I have a "Full View" button that opens up the Full View form of that record only using this where clause: [RFI]=[Forms]![RFI_LOG]![RFI]. I dragged the log into a navigation form and now it asks for the RFI Paramater when I click the "Full View" button. Can I fix this? Thanks!

I am sorry if I sound dense, but what is RFI? Can you explain what the control source is for these? Are you talking about 2 forms? Are they bound to tables or queries?

Listing that info, and which control is having the issue, will help.

RFI, while not useful to understanding the technical issue at hand, I expect means Request For Information. Prospects Request product information and then potentially become customers. At least that is my experience with the acronymn.

I guess another obvious question is what does the FULL VIEW button do? I assume it is a button on the form.

That was what I thought, I just didn't want to have to assume. It helps when explaining a problem to explain the goal. I find that the geniuses on this site (and most forums) will give me a much better way to get to my goal than the solution I am trying to put together with shoe strings lol.
