This doesn't seem to work.
I can only move to another cell by clicking with the mouse.

I have Excel 2000 and Windows 2000.

Where should I look?

Thank you.

:-( :-(

wow...I feel so ashamed.

Euhum....it was the scroll lock - button.

And to defend myself a bit: I have a new keyboard since this weekend and now the ScrollLock button is located where the Home-button of my former keyboard used to be.

And (maybe this makes it worse again) on my other keyboard I never even noticed this scrollock-button (can it be it wasn't there?),I have never even heard of the sheer existence of this utterly useless button.

greetings,
swamphen (notice the little s)

Taken from the Excel Help Files:

Arrow keys and keys such as PAGE UP, HOME, and SHIFT+TAB don't perform the expected action.
The keys may be performing the equivalent action in Lotus 1-2-3. On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Transition tab. Clear the Transition navigation keys check box, and then try to use the keys again.

If you want the active selection to move as you scroll through a worksheet, make sure scroll lock is off. If scroll lock is on, you can use the navigation keys without affecting the current selection.
