Hey guys,

I have liveupdate configured to retrieve updates from Symantec. The download directory is quite large right now (4GB). Does anyone know of a utility which can clean up any old updates?

Thanks

4GB is abnormally large. Sounds like your definitions are corrupted. Do you currently have support with Symantec?

It's actually 6GB now. I need to reconfigure LiveUpdate to not download updates for certain products. It may be downloading too much, I don't think it's corrupted.

Are you using the LiveUpdate Administration utility? There is a bug that used to cause the product not to clean up after itself.

The LUA (LiveUpdate Administration) utility is generally used to publish Symantec updates (such as virus definitions) on an internal FTP/HTTP server.
